Our Offices — FAQs

Four offices, one team — your questions answered

Where are DavidStar's offices in Broward County?
Four: Weston (1500 Weston Rd, Ste 200-2), Fort Lauderdale (300 SE 2nd Street, Ste. 600), Coral Springs (11555 Heron Bay Blvd, Ste 200) and Oakland Park (4555 NE 6th Ave, Unit 101B). Each has its own direct phone line.
Do I come to the office, or does someone come to me?
Someone comes to you. Home care is delivered in your own home, and the assessment happens there too — in the actual house, so the plan reflects the real stairs, the real bathroom and the real routine rather than a description over the phone. The offices are where the coordinators and case managers work.
Which office will I actually deal with?
Normally the one nearest you, because it means shorter caregiver travel and faster cover if someone calls out sick. You are assigned a case manager there who stays your point of contact rather than a rotating phone queue.
Are all four offices the same company?
Yes. All four are DavidStar Home Care, operating under a single Florida licence (AHCA #299995097), with the same caregivers, the same screening and the same rates. They are not franchises.
Which hospitals does each office coordinate with?
Fort Lauderdale works with Broward Health, Holy Cross and Imperial Point. Coral Springs works with Broward Health Coral Springs. Oakland Park works with Broward Health Imperial Point. Weston works with Cleveland Clinic Florida (Weston Hospital). This matters most for hospital-to-home discharges.
Can I meet the caregiver before care begins?
Yes, and you should. Families meet and approve their caregiver before care starts, not after. A caregiver who is a poor personality match is worse than no caregiver, and it is far easier to change at the introduction than three weeks in.
