DavidStar Home Care was founded by Chaya Flaxman, whose path to home care spans continents — and is rooted in something deeply personal. Years of working in public and community health, and raising a child on the autism spectrum, shaped a simple conviction: care should be personal, dependable, and delivered with dignity.

  Collaborated with the French Ministry of Health and volunteered with Action Against Hunger in West Africa (Senegal and Liberia).

  Directed the Health Resources Center at Guyane Promo Santé in French Guiana, focused on HIV prevention and community outreach.
